Factors leading to belt deviation

Belt deviation caused by the center of the components of the conveyor not being in a straight line
These components include the nose, tail, intermediate frame. The belt deviation caused by this reason is usually when the machine is installed, the center of the three is not placed on a straight line in the horizontal direction. In this way, the longitudinal center line of the belt will be misaligned with the axis of the drum, which will lead to the deviation of the belt. Because only the longitudinal center line of the belt and the drum axis perpendicular to each other will maintain the normal operation of the machine.
Belt deviation caused by improper installation position of roller
Multiple rollers in the belt production line can make the machine operate safely and efficiently in cooperation with each other. However, when the drum is installed, a slight improper installation position will cause uneven force on the belt and cause the belt to deviate. The correct installation position of the roller is parallel to the belt in the horizontal direction and perpendicular to the center line of the belt.
Belt deviation caused by conveyor belt joint
Only when the joint is flat and the belt itself has no arc, the force on both sides of the belt will be uniform during operation, and the belt will normally convey items. If the joint is not leveled during the splicing process, the force on both sides of the belt will be different, or uneven, which will cause the belt to shift when the joint is running.
The incorrect placement of the roller frame or the loosening of the bolts fixing it will also cause the belt to deviate.
When fixing the roller frame of the normal belt production line, it is necessary to ensure that the symmetry between the center line of the roller home and the center line of the machine frame is less than 3mm. If the conveyor belt is placed horizontally, the upper surface of the roller should be located on the same horizontal plane, and if it is placed obliquely, the upper surface should be located on the same inclined plane. In addition, the loosening of the bolts fixing the roller frame will also cause uneven force on the belt, which in turn will cause the belt to deviate.
Offset of belt caused by loss of transmission
When the conveyor belt conveys the goods, it is easy to cause the conveyor belt to be damaged due to friction with the goods. When the conveyor belt is damaged, the force on both sides is not uniform, and the stretch rate on both sides will differ greatly, which will naturally cause the conveyor belt to deviate.
Belt deviation caused by improper placement of conveyed articles
When the goods are transported, if they are not placed in the center of the belt, the pressure of the goods to the conveyor belt will be unevenly distributed on both sides of the belt. If the pressure difference is too large, the belt will be offset. If the conveyor does not shift when it is not carrying articles, but shifts when transporting articles, it can be determined that the conveyor belt has shifted when it is initially set up.
Belt offset due to belt aging
After the whole belt has been running for a period of time, due to the permanent deformation or aging of the belt stretching, the tension of the belt will decrease, causing the belt to relax and causing the belt to deviate.
Belt deflection caused by vibration during equipment operation
The mechanical vibration of the belt conveyor during operation is inevitable. The faster the belt runs, the greater the vibration, and the greater the belt deviation. In the belt conveyor, the vibration caused by the radial runout of the roller has the greatest influence on the belt deviation.
